Central to this mission is that we provide transparency about the data we collect and keep about you, how these data are used and with whom the data are shared. This Privacy Statement applies to all services of TheTalentSource BV (hereinafter referred to as: 'TheTalentSource'), Chamber of Commerce number 66056926 in Amsterdam. TheTalentSource can be reached via info@thetalentsource.nl.

When you register in our database, as a registered candidate, you share your professional identity, your work experience, and knowledge for career opportunities. We offer you choices about the data we collect and use, as described in this Privacy Statement and our Cookie statement. We are aware that you place your trust in us and ensure you that we take the responsibility to protect your privacy very serious. In this Privacy Statement, we inform you about which data we collect when you use our website or register in TheTalentSource database.

We also clarify with whom the data is shared and who may process the data. This way you understand exactly how we work.

Please be aware that TheTalentSource is not responsible for the privacy policies of other sites and sources. TheTalentSource respects the privacy of all applicants, flex workers, candidates, employees, customers, suppliers, and others visitors to its websites and ensures that the personal information you give us is treated confidentially. TheTalentSource acts in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter the "GDPR") and the Protection Act Personal data. By using the services of TheTalentSource, or by visiting TheTalentSource website you agree to this Privacy declaration.

2. WHAT DATA DO WE COLLECT?

When using our services and websites, you leave certain information with us. That can be personal data. Depending on the services and functionalities you use on our websites, we may process the following personal data about you:

Registration

You do not need to upload any personal information, at first, when registering at

TheTalentSource, besides your email address. However, the less information we got, the more difficult it is for our team to find the best match. As we use the profiles as input in our search for Talents when we have job vacancies.

When registering or applying for a job, we give you the opportunity to register data in your (personal) own account:

  • Name, address, email address, date of birth, mobile phone number, gender;
  • Specialism(s), number of years of work experience, industry experience, current gross monthly salary based on 40 hours a week, your resume in word, desired employment, desired work region, the desired number of working hours per week;
  • Information about availability and leave, wishes regarding your future position/assignment, and other data that (may) be important in the context of the assessment of the suitability of the candidate (such as references). Any data provided by you during a conversation and of which notes are kept;

When you register/apply you can choose to fill in your details based on your LinkedIn profile. If you choose this, you agree that we will: LinkedIn collects data from you: your name, photo, headline, and current positions.

Get started with TheTalentSource

The moment you start working/work/have worked via TheTalentSource, we ask you for the following information:

  • Name, address, email address, date of birth, mobile phone number, gender;
  • Nationality, BSN number, ID, Chamber of Commerce registration (if applicable);
  • Other data related to the personnel, salary, and absenteeism registration;
  • Diplomas, personal documents, copy of ID, passport photo, marital status, e-mail address, nationality, information about training, VAR statement;
  • Data on availability, occupation, position, employment history and leave;
  • Financial Data such as bank account number in connection with invoicing;

In addition, at the request of some of our clients, we process data as part of pre-employment screening. This information will only be provided after consultation with you.

Passport photo/video

If you upload your passport photo (this is voluntary), you thereby give permission for keeping the passport photo in the database and sharing it with third parties as possible clients. You can remove your passport photo from your profile at any time.

The same applies to a possible voluntary video application. This photo and video material will be deleted as soon as possible after the application.
